About the pronunciation of 使えます[Go Back]from vocalemily 29.04.2010 (04:45) I just learned this word from this site.
Is its sound /tsukaemasuka/ misspelled?
How come I can't find the last syllable /ka/?
from AleckOS 30.04.2010 (02:54) Because ka is a particle used when you ask a question. Is like the Japanese question mark.
from vocalemily 02.05.2010 (16:38) Thanks for your answer AleckOS.
Yet I still don't understand why do I see two /Ka/ at the end of the following sentence from this website:
"クレジットカードは使えますか? /kurejitto kādo wa tsukaemasuka ka/
Could someone please explain it to me?
from Csikasz 02.05.2010 (19:16) I noticed that too, in katakana, hiragana and kanji it reads tsukaemasu but in romanji it's tsukaemasuka so I think they've just made a mistake there. There should only be one ka so the sentence is gramatically incorrect.
from admin 04.05.2010 (15:03) ok its fixed. | | [Go Back]
