妻は自分がニワトリだと思っている

My wife thinks she is a chicken

ある男性が医者に駆けつけて、こう言いました。「先生、どうか助けてください。私の妻は、自分がニワトリだと思っているんです！」

A man runs to the doctor and says, "Doctor, you've got to help me. My wife thinks she's a chicken!"

医者は尋ねました。「その症状は、どのくらいの間続いているんですか？」

The doctor asks, "How long has she had this condition?"

「三年です」と男性は答えました。

"Three years," says the man.

「じゃあ、医者にかかるのにどうしてこんなに長くかかったんですか？」と医者は尋ねました。

"Then why did it take you so long to come and see me?" asks the doctor.

男性は肩をすくめて答えました。「卵が必要だったんです！」

The man shrugs his shoulders and replies, "We needed the eggs!"
