ボスは私だ！

I'm the boss!

ある上司は、部下達が自分にあまり敬意を払わないことに腹を立てていました。

The boss was angry that his employees weren't giving him much respect.

少し考えた後、彼はある考えを思いつきました。

After some thinking he had an idea.

彼は、「ボスは私だ！」と書かれた看板を買い、自分のオフィスのドアに掛けました。

He bought a sign that said "I'm the boss!" and hung it at his door.

翌日、彼はその看板の下に誰かがメモを貼り付けたことに気付きました。

The next day he noticed that someone had attached a note below saying:

「奥様からお電話がありました。看板を返してほしい、とのことです。」

"Your wife just called. She wants her sign back!"
