The new job

留美：奈津子から連絡が来なくなって1週間ほどになるわ。彼女、大丈夫？

Rumi: It's almost a week I don't hear from Natsuko. Is she ok?

聡史：うん、心配ないよ！　最近、すごく忙しいだけだよ。

Satoshi: Yes, don't worry! She's just really busy lately.

留美：新しい仕事でもみつけたの？

Rumi: Did she find a new job?

聡史：そうなんだ、小学校の先生の仕事を始めたんだよ。

Satoshi: Yes, she started teaching in an elementary school.

留美：よかったわね！　それって、彼女がずっと夢見ていた仕事じゃない？

Rumi: That's nice! Isn't it the job she always dreamt of?

聡史：うん、でもこんなにきついとは思わなかったようだよ。

Satoshi: Yes, but she didn't expect it would be so demanding.

留美：きっと慣れるだろうし、とにかく私もすごくうれしいわ！

Rumi: I'm sure she'll get used to it and I'm really happy for her!

聡史：僕も全く同感だよ。彼女は働き者だからね。

Satoshi: I definitely agree with you; she's a hard-working person.

留美：奈津子によろしく伝えてね！

Rumi: Give her my best wishes!

聡史：うん、そうするよ！　じゃあね！

Satoshi: Sure! Bye!
