私は電球です

I'm a light bulb

同僚が二人、オフィスで話をしています：

Two co-workers are talking at the office:

女性が言いました。「私は自分に上司が休暇をくれるように仕向けることができるわ。」

The woman says, "I can make our boss give me the day off."

男性が答えました。「え、本当に？　どんなふうにするの？」

The man replies, "Oh, really? And how would you do that?"

女性が言いました。「ちょっと見ていて。」そして彼女は天井から逆さまにぶら下がりました。

The woman says, "Just wait and see." She then hangs upside-down from
the ceiling.

上司が入ってきて言いました。「何をしているんだい？」

The boss comes in and says, "What are you doing?"

女性は答えました。「私は電球です。」

The woman replies, "I'm a light bulb."

すると上司は言いました。「君は働きすぎで、気でも狂っちゃったようだね！　休暇を取りなさい。」

The boss then says, "You've been working too much, I think you've gone
crazy! You need to take the day off."

女性がオフィスを去ると、男性は自分の荷物をまとめて彼女に付いて行こうとしたので、そこで上司が言いました。「どこへ行くんだい？」

The woman leaves the office and the man picks his things up and starts
following her when the boss says, "Where are you going?"

男性は言いました。「僕も家に帰ります。暗闇では仕事ができないので。」

The man says, "I'm going home, too. I can't work in the dark."
